Originally launched in CD format in 2007, DME quickly became a best-selling visual dispatching software system for a variety of passenger transportation services to include non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), emergency services, limos, taxis, shuttle services, and more.
Transitioned to a web-based platform in 2010, DME is a visual and interactive dispatching system. With a click of a button, dispatchers can manage daily logistics, perform customer trip intake, manage customer database, review statistics on clients, drivers, vehicles, mileage, and more from any computer or mobile device with internet access.
There is a reason why other dispatching services model their systems after DME – because DME has proven to be the most cost effective, user-friendly, unique, and interactive dispatching software system on the market.
DME is perfect for business owner looking to add to their “bottom line.” In addition to being only $97 per month for unlimited number of users, customers, drivers and trips, with our mobile driver app, business owners no longer need to fund and support cell phone and accessories for individual drivers. Whether using an iphone or Android, drivers are able to use the mobile driver app to receive and manage individual transports. This is an obvious and significant savings to business owners.
If you can use a mouse, you can master DME - it's just that easy!
Through a color-coding system, dispatchers can literally view the status of each transport. There is no more analyzing exhaustive and irrelevant data while trying to answer phones and direct drivers.
DME has been designed for passenger transportation companies, so all of the features and functions are efficient, purposeful, and easy to use. As calls are received, dispatchers can quickly identify trip progress and navigate trip status until complete. When changes occur, dispatchers can quickly edit trip details, send messages and notifications to drivers, save or print reports and more.
There are several ways DME is going to help and improve your business.
Logistics & Communication
A well-organized dispatcher is a well-organized operation, and DME is going to help your dispatcher better manage and organize your daily intake and logistics. Dispatchers can literally see, manipulate, and process and organize all of your trips and associated data throughout the course of the day. As customers are picked up and go in route, dispatcher can quickly make drivers assignments to completion.
With our mobile app, dispatchers and drivers no longer need to personally call or become consumed with excessive two-way communication. Rather, they can direct message through the app with all messages being time stamped and archived for possible verification purposes.
Dispatchers can document individual trips details to include when calls are received, when drivers go in route, pick-up, and complete. These time stamped details are incredibly useful should an issue arise and warrants reference to verify details and circumstances.
One of the obvious savings is DME being Only $97 per month with NO contracts, upfront or hidden fees, per-trip or support-related costs, or other.
Next, because the driver mobile app no longer requires business owners to buy and support company phones, the secondary savings is absolutely incredible! This single feature alone is saving individual business owners thousands of dollars a month!
This is a very good and important question!
The single most important reason is because we do not want brokers to have access to our member-provider's information. Sold under the guise of "being able to more easily download trips" and "receive payments more quickly," brokers are notorious for viewing provider transports in hopes of determining shorter routes to reduce the rate of reimbursement.
For example, a provider might need to drive 10 miles to deliver a customer to their appointment. However, by having access to the provider's account, the broker determines the provider should have taken a shorter 7-mile route - not taking into consideration rush hour traffic, driver's previous location, or a host of other variables.
In short, giving brokers, or any other third party, access to your dispatching platforms, access to other customers and accounts not affiliated with them is never a good idea. For this reason, DME is committed to protecting our member-providers and their associated information.

Yes, absolutely. You can create various "Rate Management" profiles that feature itemized pricing for any number of accounts or contracts. After performing a transport, users can create individual itemized invoices or add invoices to statements for regular billing. Once payment is received, invoice and statements can be marked "Paid."
Great question! Many DME users and facilities love the convenience of this functionality because it affords everyone the convenience of communicating directly online versus having to tie up phone lines, risk being on hole, interrupted, or anything else associated with busy schedules. Furthermore, all correspondence and messaging are time stamped and archived in the event of the need to reference them again at a later date.
With DME, transportation providers will create facility profile accounts. Facilities can then send you trip requests that will appear as "pending" until your dispatchers accept and approve the trip.
Once approved and scheduled, facility staff can monitor trip status, see which driver(s) will be arriving to perform the trip as well as view all data and statistics. This convenient functionality will help with trip verification for payments in accordance with contracts and service agreements.
